I didn’t go to the hospital today as there were no pediatric patients, and Kythe had a full day of meetings. The hospital recently got a new board of directors, so Kythe needed to present what they do and why their work is essential. They also had another meeting to try to secure a grant. Last year, Kythe received a grant that helped fund medical care for 30 of their patients. The meeting was to report on how the money was spent, how the project turned out, and the impact it had. They’re hoping to secure another grant for next year and beyond to continue funding the medical care of pediatric patients who need it most. Without this grant money, some of these children wouldn’t be able to access the care they need and would be left untreated.
We've also set up a GoFundMe page to collect donations, which will go directly to the Kythe Foundation to support the children's medical care. Seeing firsthand the incredible work Kythe is doing makes us hopeful that, with your help, we can make a difference in the lives of even more children.
